Posting your News - A few tips before you start
You can share your privately with your Network or all of South Africa
When you post a story online, you can choose to share it a few ways:
1. With your local Network only - which means only people in the Network can read it.
2. With you local Network and other website users, which means people in your local Network will read it - but anyone else can also read it. So it's not private.
3. With all of South Africa - If you news is relevant
to all of South Africa and not related to a local Network - then you can
choose to make your story open to everyone to read.
Terms and Condition of posting news on Turn it Around
Your article will be posted live and ready for your Network or for the
public to view - based on your preferences. In order to do this we need
for you to read the terms of condition of posting your news. You can
view the terms and conditions here
TIP - Avoid typing the story live - write it and save on your computer first
Typing your story directly into an internet browser is risky as your
internet connection may drop or your login session may expire, meaning
you could lose everything you type. So it is best practice to rather
type your story in a text editor like Notepad or TextEdit on your PC -
then copy and paste it to the story editor on the website. This way you
can have a copy of the text in case anything goes wrong. Just a tip - you can type into the story editor online as well if you like.
TIP - Add photos to your story if possible
Nothing tells a story better than some photos. Submit photo with your story if you have them.
TIP - Once your story is live - it cannot be edited
Prepare your story well, read it again carefully and ensure you are
happy with it before posting it live as it cannot be edited. Once you
submit your story it will be lie and online to read. So run a spellcheck
and write it well.
